Fees and Policies
Fees
Money is uncomfortable for a lot of people to talk about - including therapists! Many therapists don't include what they charge on their website, maybe due to a fear of potentially scaring people away. But I'd rather be upfront about my fees - both because I believe that transparency is key to building the therapeutic relationship, and simply just because it's frustrating to look for this information and not be able to find it.
My current fees per 45-minute individual session are $250 for adults and my fees for 60-minute couples sessions are $350. (My fees for individual sessions for adolescents and young adults are slightly higher due to the multiple care systems and flexibility involved, and I would be happy to discuss further if needed.)
Please do reach out to me if you cannot afford these fees as I may be able to offer you a fee reduction. This would take your income and expenses into account to help us figure out a fee that would work for us both.

Insurance
I do not currently accept insurance directly in my practice. For your insurance carrier, I may be an "out of network" provider for you. This means I would provide you with monthly documentation to submit to your health insurance company or employee benefits plan for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. It is helpful to call your insurance provider in advance to determine your level of coverage.
Please first check with your policy provider by asking the following questions:
Please first check with your policy provider by asking the following questions:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits to see a licensed psychologist?
- If so, what percentage of sessions do you cover?
- What is the coverage or reimbursement amount per session?
- Is there a session limit, and if so, in what time period?
- Is there an out-of-network deductible?
- If so, what is it and how much of the deductible have I met so far?
- How do I access the necessary forms to submit for reimbursement?
Cancellation Policy
Generally, I require at least 24-hours' notice if you wish to cancel your appointment or you will be charged the full cost of the missed session.
Good Faith Estimate
I am able to offer good faith estimates in accordance with the No Surprises Act. Learn more here.
